Dates for Your Diary

Our next event:

Saturday, September 15  10:30 – 1 p.m. East Street
Coffee Morning to open the Rye Festival

Do join us  on the day the Festival launches to see some outstanding exhibits – including one which marks out our Museum as a very high status one in the view of the British Museum!  It has honoured us with the loan of a cast of the Rosetta Stone which is one of the British Museum’s most famous objects.  It is already in place for you to see and will remain with us through October when there are plans for school parties to visit.

Thursday, October 11th  East Street
First talk of the 2018-19 Museum year

The Talks Card is going out shortly and all will be revealed.

Monday, October 22nd  East Street
Children’s Craft Afternoon

Children — and their parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles ….. certainly enjoy these afternoons when there are things to make and do.   Joining in the fun at our last such day were 29 children and 37 adults!  If you would like to join the team of helpers for this next event, please let us know!   The local Rotary Club has kindly offered to sponsor it,  and the December one as well.
