Children’s Activity Day, 27th May

A small group of children enjoyed a fun craft afternoon with a gardening theme at the East Street Museum on Wednesday 27th May

Nearly there! We've come to Craft Day

The children decorated plant pots and decorated a plant label.

They made a pinwheel with some adult help and finally planted a small pot with a marigold or petunia  in their decorated pot.

Finished productsThe finished efforts were taken home to give away or tend themselves.

Look out for the next children’s activity! They are always fun and also educative – even for the parents and helpers!

Don’t forget to water your plants children!

Thanks to the volunteer helpers on the day, Heather, Sue, Sheila, Jo and our new volunteer Sandra.
